Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – The Marquette Spectacle is happening on Saturday, October 12 at 5:00pm with a parade downtown and an incredible evening at Harlow Park in Marquette.
City of Marquette Arts & Culture Manager Tiina Harris and Spectacle Artistic Director Niikah Hatfield joined Mark and Walt in the Morning today to talk about the free, family-friendly outdoor performance event.

Hatfield said this year’s title is Outré – An Alluring Dream and includes over 20 pop-up performances, art installations, live music and food trucks.
Harris added that parade participants will assemble at the Marquette Commons at 4:30pm on October 12th, with the official start time at 5:00pm where the parade will march down Washington Street.
Hatfield explained that the parade finishes at Harlow Park where the community will experience the world of Outré, and the evening concludes at sunset with a finale of dance and fire at 7:00pm on Bluff Street, overlooking the Park.
In case of rain, makeup date will be Sunday, October 13th at 5:00pm.
