Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – It’s Christmastime and the time of year where we ask our listeners to give back to those who fought for our freedom with our “Christmas is for Veterans” gift drive.
It’s all to gather gifts to be presented to the veterans who live at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, MI.
Shari Smith, Activities Coordinator, and Sarah Johnson, Volunteer Coordinator at the Jacobetti Home, joined the Sunny Morning Show this week to encourage everyone to go out and pick up items to gift to the veterans at the home.
They shared some information about specific items they have on the their veterans wish list, and you can find out more at this link.
