Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A special night of music is happening this Thursday at the Red Room Theater at the U.P. Masonic Center in Marquette, all to benefit the Room At The Inn homeless shelter.
Anne Huston and Wyatt Tillotson, with the Northern Michigan University Student Leader Fellowship Program, joined the Sunny Morning Show today to give some highlights of the event.
They explained that the idea for a Battle of the Bands came from a class project and the students in the class decided to make it benefit Room at the Inn.
The evening will also feature a silent auction and other special performances.
The doors open at 6:00pm and music starts at 6:30pm.
