Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio) – A special silent auction is underway to benefit flood relief efforts in the Copper Country featuring some exquisite quilts.
Pam Kauppila, owner of Time Flies Quilt & Sew in Negaunee Township, joined the Sunny Morning Show today to talk about #quiltsforthecoppercountry.
Kauppila said there are multiple quilts on display near the coffee stand in the atrium of the U.P. Medical Center in Marquette to check out and make bids on.
The project is raising money for the Portage Health Foundation to help with recovery from the devastating Father’s Day floods in Houghton and Keweenaw counties earlier this year.
She said the auction ends November 30th at 5:00pm, and you can send a text or call 906-361-5111 or email pam@timefliesquiltandsew.com with your bid.
