Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Candidate Forum for the Marquette City Commission is coming up Wednesday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Commission Chambers at the Marquette City Hall on Baraga Avenue.
Darlene Allen, Unit Leader for the League of Women Voters of Delta County, Marquette County Unit, joined the Sunny Morning Show today to preview the forum
Allen said the eight candidates running for the two open seats on the Marquette City Commission have been invited: Aaron Andres, Margaret Brumm, Jenn Hill, Matthew Luttenberger, Brian E. Miller, Mike Plourde, Jermey Ottaway and Jenna Smith.
She added that the forum will include opening statements, audience questions and closing statements, and the public is invited to attend the forum and written audience questions will be collected and asked as time allows.
The forum will be live streamed to the local League Facebook page , and will be video taped and posted on the website page http://lwvdeltacounty.org.
