Ishpeming, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A public meeting is being held this evening in Ishpeming discussing the planned construction of roundabouts in the area.
M-DOT plans to convert the intersection of US-41/M-28 and Second Street into a roundabout while the city is planning to realign Third Street and Second Street, as well as build a single-lane roundabout to connect the two streets.
Construction is expected to begin in early May of next year and be complete in late September 2016.
The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ishpeming Senior Center.
