Marquette, MI – July 23rd, 2016 – Depression is an all too familiar mental illness that many people have experience with, and Todd Paz caught up with the Ishpeming Hematites’ own Jeff Olson to discuss his son’s battle with severe depression and the documentary that was filmed as a result.
“Do It For Daniel” is almost ready for launch, and U.P. residents get a chance to see an early showing of the documentary on August 12th and 13th in Ishpeming, MI.
The film follows the story of Daniel Olson’s severe depression, the 2012 Ishpeming Hematites football team, and his eventual death from the disease. “Do It For Daniel” also looks to offer hope for those going through similar circumstances and raise awareness of this disease.
