Champion, Michigan – Debra Gill of Van Riper State Park provided a complete rundown of the family-friendly lantern lit snowshoe event coming up this Friday, February 5th. Ms. Gill, the Lead Ranger of the Park invited the 8th Day Radio Show listeners to an evening of fun on their friendly 1.25 mile lantern lit snowshoe trail.
From the news release “The trail begins 7/10th of a mile west of the main campground entrance at our rustic Peshekee Cabin. The lantern lit trail will take place from 7 – 9 p.m., there will be a cozy fire to warm up by inside the cabin along with some snacks, coffee, and hot cocoa.”
