MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – General Motors has recalled 231,000 older model SUVs because of fire risks.
The vehicles included are the 2006-2007 Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, SAAB 9-7x, Isuzu Ascender and the 2006 Chevy Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL.
A short in the circuit board has caused 28 door fires already. General Motors is urging owners to park the vehicles outside of garages until they are repaired.
