MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An Iron County woman wanted on a murder charge out of Cook County, Illinois from 1979 is headed back to Illinois to go to trial.
66-year-old Jacquelyn Greco of Crystal Falls was arrested in relation to the case in March and since then has been lodged in the Iron County Jail. She waived her right to extradition in Iron County Trial Court yesterday and will be transferred to Illinois for trial.
No details of the murder case have been released by the Cook County Sheriff’s Department.
