Your TV is spying on you
I just watched this two-hour investigation video on YouTube by gamers’ nexus into LG TV’s privacy and security concerns. Let me sum up what they said and you own LG TV just disconnected from your network.
These researchers showed the TV listening to you and sending the information in clear text of what you said in front of it back over the network time and time again.
And they’re even worried about even if you do unplug it if it’s plugged into your network and you do not connect it to your own Wi-Fi. They’re saying that they’re seeing examples of different smart devices connecting to some of these like shipped by default public Wi-Fi options that are coming out of Comcast, Wi-Fi and AT&T.
You’ve seen these right? Like the neighborhood Wi-Fi. Just like ship a hotspot to your house. And they’re seeing examples of devices auto-switching to it to just reach out to the internet even if you don’t give it a connection in your own home.
People that live in condos apparently are reporting that this is a nightmare for them. And the execs at LG ads which is a separate private company from LG, which is important because the president of LG ads is banned from running a public company by the SEC for running previous scams.
But the execs are actually bragging about how much they own the glass. And this guy was even like if you’re watching TV and you’re on your phone, we can extend the ad campaign off of the big screen to the little screen because we know every device in your house.
Literally, they scan your whole network for devices. These are the researchers showing examples. And people that weren’t even participating in this video, like their Windows PC with their name, they redacted a bunch of the private identity information out of this list.
But this list was the stuff that was in the LG TV’s logs that it was communicating over the network. So like if your Apple Watch has got your first name on it and you have guessed that come to your house and their devices connect to your network.
LG has all that data. Then they showed that it actually sends what you’re watching on TV. You know that built-in fake cable thing that smart TVs have now? Well if you are watching that, the DNS queries show what channel you’re watching. And all of the terms of service are super shady.
Like you only need to accept these two, but all six are auto-checked by default. Like select all is checked by default. And it tries to get you to like opt into all this information sharing. This first time you plug it in and turn it on. They showed examples of like when they talked in front of the LG TV even saying things like sensitive information like your social security number wound up in clear text on the wire.
There’s so much more in this video. Obviously, I can’t get to it all. Their main thing is just unplug these things from the network. Obviously, that’s not even full proof. It’s going to start connecting to your neighbor’s Wi-Fi.
But we got to do what we can. We got to make more noise for new privacy, consumer legislation.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent testifies before House Financial Services Committee – Where’s The Money From Venezuela?
I was watching the House Financial Services Committee over said hearing with Treasury Secretary Scott Beson. And an insane little exchange happened.
President Trump said on July 27th, we’ve paid for that war many times over. We’re taking in a lot of money billions and billions of dollars from Venezuela. Who is the weed that he is referring to?
Well, I think President Trump may have been referring to the oil deal that the Department of Wars done within his way on. But he seemed to imply that we, you know, since people are taking in money to offset those costs, that would suggest flows to U.S. persons.
Again, that this is the one of the largest assets that maybe ever to go on, that the U.S. balance sheet. Congresswoman. And the world’s, okay, are the accounts that the Treasury is managing tied only to the sale of oils, or are you also taking control of other Venezuelan assets?
It is many Venezuelan assets.
So you’ve asserted control over Venezuelan assets. I know the interior recently said they’re taking control of Venezuela and gold sales.
So we’re also taking control of those assets and the dispersions.
Yeah. And you can’t testify as we sit here whether and have those are flowing to U.S. persons. No. No. Can you identify where or what U.S. bank those funds are being held?
No.
Secretary Rubio had indicated that they were being held by a city bank. Do you dispute what Secretary Rubio said or do you not know?
I agree with it. Just to recap there, we are taking in tons of Venezuelan assets beyond just oil, gold who knows what else. But we don’t know where those assets are going. We don’t really know what bank they’re being held at.
Could be city group. I know Rubio did say back in the over the summer. There’s like $13 billion in oil assets from Venezuela that was being held in a city account.
That was in the summer. We’re in September. So we don’t know what’s coming in. We don’t know where it’s held. We certainly don’t know what it’s being spent on.
But we’re trying to call this stuff in Venezuela. And we have no accountability over it. It’s old school imperialism with no oversight whatsoever.
Seems like a pretty easy target for the next Congress of assuming they actually care about this stuff to look into. We certainly will look into it and keep covering this at the bow.
Pentagon Funnels Money to the First family
While Pete H squanders our military power, his Pentagon funnels your money to the first family. Just listen to this. Five days after his father was reelected Prince Don Jr. becomes a partner at 1789 Capital, Adventure Farm founded by right wing activists and Trump donors.
1789 Capital then buys a stake in Vulcan elements, a tiny startup that says it plans to produce the high tech magnets needed in drones, missiles and satellites. And about a month after Don Jr.’s venture firm buys its stake in Vulcan elements. Pentagon officials learn that Peter Navarro, a convicted criminal, Don Jr.’s close friend and a top White House official wants the Pentagon to give your tax dollars to Vulcan elements.
One Pentagon official said, quote, the call came from the White House. We have to get this done. An Athens to be clear, getting this done means funneling your money to the president’s sons investment.
And so of course like clockwork on November 21st, just three months after Don Jr. in his friends bought their stake, Vulcan gets a 620 million dollar taxpayer loan from Pete Heggsiff’s Pentagon. Payed for with your money.
See while the world burns and you pay more for everything. Your tax dollars become the royal family’s wealth.
