U.P. History Conference Coming To Marquette This Month

Marquette, MI – June 17, 2026 – The Historical Society of Michigan is hosting the Upper Peninsula History Conference in Marquette on June 25-28, 2026.

Dan Truckey, Director/Curator of the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center, and conference planning committee member, spoke about the event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Truckey explained that the conference is open to all who have an interest in U.P. history and there will be a mix of presentations, seminars, tours and more.

He added that the event will be based at the Northern Center at NMU, and people can register to attend the day of the conference, but early registration is encouraged.
