Marquette, MI – May 12, 2026 – The Marquette Rockestra presents their latest benefit concert this week at Forest Roberts Theatre at NMU in Marquette.
Show performer Jon Teichman spoke about the show with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Teichman said the show is called “The Songs of 1976” and is an all-ages event produced and performed by many of Marquette County’s top musicians.
He added that the proceeds raised will go to the new Marquette Rockestra Scholarship Fund, which will provide college scholarships for students from the Marquette Area Public Schools who wish to pursue a degree in the arts. Funds are also being raised for the CAAM Emergency Food Program.
Showtime is 7:30pm this Saturday, May 16, and tickets (if available) can be purchased at the door and through all Northern Michigan University ticketing outlets.
