Marquette, MI – March 31, 2026 – A new holiday tradition is launching this coming 2026 Christmas season in Ishpeming.
Corkin said The Ishpeming Kriskindlmarkt is the first of it’s kind in the U.P., and will be held outside the historic Mather in downtown Ishpeming.
He explained that market will give visitors the chance to enjoy local vendors, festive food, music, lights, and family fun to get into the Christmas spirit.
Corkin said the market is based on long-standing European traditions and will be open to all to attend.
He added that there is currently a call out for sponsors to get involved, and there will soon be a vendor application available for anyone interested in selling their wares.
