“A Streetcar Named Desire” Comes To The Stage At NMU!

Marquette, MIFebruary 18, 2026Northern Michigan University’s Department of Theatre & Dance is presenting the Tennessee Williams classic, “A Streetcar Named Desire” this week and next.

Show Director, and Theatre & Dance Assistant Professor, Kaitlyn Frotton spoke about the show with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Frotton said tickets are going fast for this American classic being presented at the smaller, and more intimate, Panowski Black Box Theatre on campus.  She added that it is a longer show at 2 hours and 45 minutes, and it does have some mature themes and language audiences need to be considerate of.
