Marquette, MI – October 14, 2025 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening. The meeting is being held tonight, on a Tuesday, due to yesterday being a Federal holiday.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs previewed the meeting with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the Commission will be voting on a series of administrative matters, including travel reimbursements for Commissioners to attend the recent Michigan Municipal League Convention in Grand Rapids.
She also shared her thoughts on the recently-passed state budget and what it will mean for the City of Marquette.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 o’clock at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
