Marquette, MI – March 6, 2025 – Due to poor road conditions in many areas this morning across Marquette County, all county K-12 school districts are closed for today.
The closings also include Father Marquette Catholic Academy, North Star Montessori Academy and Marquette-Alger RESA in Marquette.
Also closed for today is Northern Michigan University. That includes the Superior Dome and the PEIF. On-campus events in buildings other than the Northern Center
are canceled unless Campus Police give permission for an event.
High winds and snow showers are diminishing across the region this morning, but gusty winds will continue into the afternoon. Sunshine is expected later today across the region.
