Marquette, MI – December 18, 2024 – The Ishpeming Ski Club is hosting the 138th Annual Ski Jumping Tournament in January. The competitions will be held at the UP Nordic Ski Complex in Ishpeming on January 17th through the 19th.
The Ski Club’s Peter Copenhaver spoke about the tournament with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Copenhaver says the events will once again be held over a weekend with the 138th Ski Club Jumping Tournament on Friday at 7:00pm, and the Paul Bietila Memorial Tournament on Saturday at 6:00pm with a fireworks display that night.
He added that the weekend wraps up with the Central Division Junior Tournament at 11:00am on Sunday.
Copenhaver says the event will include food trucks, tailgating and large bonfires.
