Marquette, MI – May 20, 2024 – The Lake Superior Community Partnership is hosting a special public event this week in Marquette with a focus on housing solutions.
Westra said the event is the Community Dialogues: Housing Solutions in Motion Luncheon this Thursday, May 23rd, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Northern Center at NMU.
She explained that it includes a lunch and conversation on moving from ideas to actions for adding more housing units in Marquette County with a presentation by Nicole Wilson, VP of Economic Development of the Midland Business Alliance.
Wilson will be sharing insights and actions they’ve taken in Midland, MI to add more units. That will be followed by a panel discussion local emerging developers will share insights into their experience and how we can increase their capacity and output to add units throughout the county.
Westra said the event open to the public, and has a small registration fee to cover the costs of the luncheon, and anyone interested can find out more or register HERE.
