Marquette, MI – January 24, 2024 – The City of Negaunee is gearing up for the return of the Heikki Lunta Winter Festival. The winter celebration is coming up next weekend with activities Friday through Sunday.
City Manager Nate Heffron previewed some of the big events with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Heffron said the weekend features multiple outdoor events celebrating winter, including a snowboarding Rail Jam competition, fat tire bike race, an ice fishing tournament on Teal Lake and winter fireworks.
