Marquette, MI – November 3, 2023 – The Superior Arts Youth Theater is presenting their latest production, Annie JR., this month in Marquette.
The production is based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, and features over 60 local youth in grades 8th and under.
Niemi, who plays the character of Miss Hannigan, talked about her role and how it’s the first time she gets to play the villain in a production.
Marquardson, who plays the role of Grace Farrell, shared some of her favorite parts of this character and encouraged everyone to come see the show.
Performances of Annie JR. are at 7:00pm at the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University on Thursday, November 9th; Friday, November 10th; and Saturday, November 11th; with 1pm performances on Saturday, November 11th (a Theatre for All performance) and Sunday, November 12th.
