Marquette, MI – September 26, 2023 – A Lithium Battery Recycling Event is happening this Saturday in Marquette from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the parking lot of the Westwood Mall near Applebee’s restaurant.
Organizer Fran Finley spoke about the event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Finley says the consumer battery recycling event is a collaborative effort by the Marquette Area Rotary Clubs and is a drive-thru.
She added that people can bring old lithium-ion batteries and the devices that contain them. That includes laptops and tablet computers, cell phones, cordless tools and other devices with rechargeable batteries.
