In case you forgot, today is the beginning of The 19th Annual Marquette Area Blues Fest! This festival is a Summer’s-end staple for Marquette area residents, and a pleasure for late season tourists held in Mattson Lower Harbor Park. It features world-class blues musicians, free workshops, and arts & crafts for a little something to do in between acts!! This weekend is about to be hot! Let these incredible blues singers and instrumentalists down by the shores of Lake Superior cool you down. Be sure to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and maybe even an umbrella to shade you from the sun, so you stay comfortable.
