Marquette, MI – January 17, 2023 – The Ishpeming Ski Club’s 136th Annual Ski Jumping Tournament is this weekend at the UP Nordic Ski Complex in Ishpeming.
Copenhaver reminded everyone that the event runs Friday and Saturday with world-class ski jumping along with tailgating, food and bonfires through the weekend and fireworks on Saturday night.
He reiterated that on-site parking is limited, but there will be a shuttle bus running during the competition between the hill and the Negaunee High School parking lot.
Copenhaver said there is still a need for volunteers, and if anyone is interested, they can sign up through the Yoopers United website.
