NMU AD Rick Comley Updates Search For New Football Coach, Basketball Move And Ice Rink Size

Marquette, MI – November 18, 2022 – Northern Michigan University Athletic Director Rick Comley joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today with an update on the search for a new Wildcat Football coach and more.

Comley spoke about the search and what the expected timeline is for the new coach to take the reins of the program.

He also talked about the effort to move NMU basketball games out of the Berry Events Center and into the adjacent Vandament Arena.

Comley wrapped up with the latest plans to shrink the width of the Olympic-sized ice sheet at the Berry Events Center to be more in line with other rinks in the league and in the NHL.
