Annual “Catch The Christmas Spirit” Tree Lighting Next Week In Marquette Township

Marquette, MI – November 18, 2022 – The annual Marquette Township “Catch The Christmas Spirit” tree lighting is coming up next week.

Randy Girard, with the Township Community Events Committee, spoke about the plans for this year’s holiday event with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Girard said the event runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday, November 22nd in front of the Westwood Mall.

He said there will be refreshments from Super One, candy from Jet’s Pizza, and a performance by dancers from Studio Dance Arts along with a special visit from Santa Claus.

Giriard added that the combination of music and holiday fun makes the tree lighting event a great chance for families to come and visit Marquette Township.
