MARESA Presenting “Guiding Good Choices” Program For Parents And Caregivers

Marquette, MIOctober 27, 2022The Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency is presenting a free workshop to U.P. families to empowering parents and caregivers by giving them information to help kids with the challenges they face.

Kelly Sager, Regional School Health Coordinator with MARESA, and Michelle Granger, MARESA Health Education Consultant, spoke about the program today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Sager said the Guiding Good Choices program is a program presented in partnership with the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum and the Marquette County Cares Coalition, comprised of five two hour long sessions spread across five weeks.

Granger said the workshops begin on Monday, November 7th, and registered parents and caregivers will meet at the U.P. Children’s Museum from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.

Childcare will be provided for families with small children.
