Marquette, MI – October 19, 2022 – Dr. Brock Tessman takes the reins in February to serve as the new President at Northern Michigan University, and we had the chance to sit down with him today to hear his thoughts on his new position.
Tessman said he is very impressed with both the campus and Marquette communities and how well they coexist, and he is looking forward to getting to work as NMU’s 17th President.
He explained that some of his main priorities will focus on recruitment and retention of students and increasing community engagement.
Tessman will officially start on February 1st, 2023.
