Marquette, MI – June 30, 2022 – The League of Women Voters of Marquette County is hosting a Candidate Forum later today for the 109th District State House of Representatives seat.
Three of the four candidates in the race, Republican Melody Wagner and Democrats Joe Boogren and Jenn Hill have agreed to take part, while Republican Ron Gray declined the invitation.
Burnham said the candidates are seeking their respective party’s nominations in the upcoming August Primary to move on to the November general election.
Incumbent Democrat Sara Cambensy is term-limited, and cannot run again.
The forum begins at 6:00 o’clock this evening at the Marquette Township Community Hall. Doors will open at 5:30pm.
