Marquette, MI – March 31, 2022 – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect along the Lake Superior shoreline for Alger, Luce and Northern Schoolcraft Counties until 8:00 p.m. today.
The National Weather Service says expect 3 to 7 inches of snow and ice of around one tenth of an inch. Winds out of the northwest are gusting up to 40 mph along the Lake Superior shoreline.
Travel could be very difficult with patchy blowing snow that could significantly reduce visibility.
We do have some schools that are closed today due to the weather.
