Mythoholic’s Podcast Gains Popularity in Marquette

Todd Pazz interviewed two of the newest hard hitters of the podcast community, Sade and Diego Rodriguez about their series: Mythoholic’s; with topics ranging from the Lost City of Atlantis to whether or not Elvis’s death actually happened. This easygoing show gives the listeners a new view into the supernatural, even for legends as old as time. Unique segments such as eyewitness accounts and local legends keep listeners on the edge of their seat for the next episode.

Sade’s work background began in TV production, but expanded after she began listening to True Crime podcasts. After becoming an avid listener, she felt as though nothing fit her niche and decided to create a podcast with the help of her husband Diego. Diego prefers the more technical aspects of the podcast, giving commentary on the luring lore that is covered throughout the ongoing series.

Just over a year ago, the Mythoholic’s began, quickly gaining a large following at the beginning of the New Year. Since then , they have gained over 1500+ views per month. With every episode a new myth is tackled, each one more gripping than the last. In an industry where it’s difficult to separate fact from fiction, Sade goes the extra mile to prevent false or contradictory information from being brought up during discussion–assuring that the reader can know the ‘real truth’ on topics such as Bigfoot.
