
Marquette, MI – January 12, 2022 – Northern Michigan University has suspended face-to-face in-class instruction for this week due to COVID-19 as the Winter ’22 semester is beginning.
Bath explained that the university made the decision due to recent spikes of coronavirus cases in the area.
He also said NMU had also changed their mask protocols to requiring the use of an N95, KN95 or KF94 mask, adding that NMU has ordered 12-thousand KN95 masks for students to be distributed this week.
Bath also discussed what the public needs to know about visiting campus or attending events such as this weekend’s NMU hockey game at the Berry Events Center and required mask usage.
