
Marquette, MI – August 3, 2021 – City of Negaunee work crews have begun work to secure unfenced locations in Old Town area.
Negaunee City Manager Nate Heffron spoke about the work today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Heffron said city crews have begun the installation of about 3000 feet of new fencing in locations where fence once stood or where additional fencing is needed, and the city is hoping to have the project completed this year.
Heffron also explained that the city will also be taking a more active role in the inspection process of all fencing within Old Town by developing a yearly regular inspection program.
