Safely Dispose Of Old Medications On National Drug Take Back Day This Saturday

Marquette, MI – April 21, 2021 –You can safely dispose of old and unneeded medications this weekend on National Drug Take-Back Day, which is Saturday.

Rich Johnson, a volunteer with the Forsyth Township Police Department and Chair of Marquette County TRIAD, and Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt spoke about the effort with Mark & Walt in the Morning today.

Johnson outlined where you will be able to safely drop off expired medications that are no longer necessary to have in the medicine cabinet.

Sheriff Zyburt explained how this national initiative gives people the chance to throw away old prescription drugs in and environmentally safe manner with no questions asked.
