Marquette, MI – March 15 ,2019 – Heard of Spread Goodness Day? Well, it’s today! It’s a global day of goodness spread by individuals, businesses, and organizations and we wanted to be a part of that! Sunny.FM’s Kelsey Reyes met with Spread Goodness Day organizer Anna Dravland to find out more about Spread Goodness Day.
During the interview Dravland said, “all you have to do to be a part of the event is do something nice that spreads a feeling of kindness, happiness, and cheer among others.” As a sponsor of Spread Goodness Day, the team at Great Lakes Radio decided to join in and spread some cheer too!
Administration Assistant Abbie Ferguson had a great idea to help the people in our community who REALLY help our people. So, we took a pen to the Room at the Inn’s Warming Center wish list and started checking things off! Great Lakes Radio staff went out and purchased items on wish list to deliver them to the Room at the Inn. The local Warming Center feeds about 20 to 35 people twice a day and offers laundry and other services as well. Their budget is very tight right now, so if you want to join us in donating to the Room at the Inn, check out their website.
