MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police say a 54-year-old Illinois man was ticketed after his vehicle hit the outside of the Family Video store on West Washington Street.
Police say the man told them he hit the gas pedal instead of the brake on his vehicle by accident. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. as the man and his 19-year-old son were pulling into the parking lot in front of the store.
The driver was ticketed for careless driving and no names are being released.
