MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General, is currently in critical need of O-negative blood throughout all of their service areas in the Upper Peninsula.
Blood Center officials say all blood donated at the U.P. Regional Blood Center stays in the U.P. If you haven’t donated in the last 8 weeks, please take the time to give the “gift of life”.
You can donate in the Marquette area at the Blood Center at 427 West College Avenue, adjacent to Marquette General Hospital. No appointments necessary and walk-ins are welcome.
You can also donate at blood centers in Escanaba, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
