Five Charged in Ironwood for Meth Lab

    Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Authorities in the western U.P. have released the names of the five people charged with operating a meth lab in Ironwood.

    The execution of the first of a pair of search warrants this week resulted in the arrest of three people, 40 year old Wendy Hemmings, 59 year old George Davis, and 31 year old Kristin Carter.

    They were all charged with Operating or Maintaining a Laboratory Involving Meth, and Operating or Maintaining a drug house.

    Two other people were arrested after the second search, 34 year old Cindi Christensen and 35 year old Joel Graser, Jr. were charged with Operating or Maintaining a Laboratory Involving Meth, Operating or Maintaining Involving Meth within 500 Feet of a Residence and Possession of Meth.

    All five are currently lodged at the Gogebic County Sheriff’s office.
