MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An autopsy is being performed today in Marquette as part of the investigation into the death of a Marquette County man that authorities have ruled as suspicious.
State Police at the Negaunee Post responding to a report of a missing person complaint found the body of the missing 56-year-old unidentified man in Skandia Township just before 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
They found the man’s body outside his vehicle, and the vehicle had caught fire and burned. The man and vehicle were found less than a mile from the man’s home on County Road JH in West Branch Township.
The man’s name is being withheld pending further investigation.
