    U.P. Regional Blood Centers in critical need of bloodMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General, is currently in critical need of O-negative blood throughout Upper Peninsula.

    Blood Center officials say the need is high in all of their service areas of Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain, Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie.

    In the Marquette area, you can donate at the U.P. Regional Blood Center at 427 West College Avenue, adjacent to Marquette General Hospital. You can call for an appointment at 225-4610.

    The U.P. Regional Blood Center also has offices in Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
