MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – M-DOT is reporting the emergency closure of M-94 between Chippewa Avenue and Fifth Street in the city of Manistique.
The closure is necessary to determine the source of and repair a suspected water system leak that is affecting a business between First and Second streets.
The duration of the closure is not yet known, but will depend on further investigation of the leak’s source and the extent of repairs.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured on city streets as during this year’s construction project.
