Marquette, MI – August 25, 2020 – This week marks the start of in-person learning for student at Northern Michigan University, as well as NMU’s annual Fall Fest!  Every year local businesses and campus organizations come together to give students the chance to learn about them and what they have to offer.  Due to social distancing, the event was split into two days.

Yesterday student clubs and organizations were in the academic mall to give out information about themselves and their groups.  There was music, many free knick-knacks, and food!  Today local businesses and organizations took over the academic mall to show off their work and offer giveaways, applications, and information about their business.

There were many local organizations and businesses at Fall Fest this year, including Cost Cutters, Discover Chiropractic, and The Guy’s Place Salon, and NMU Career ServicesDomino’s Pizza was also there, giving away free slices of pizza!

We at mediaBrew Communications had our own booth with some of our station stickers, information on our multi-media internship, and a giveaway for 2 $50 shopping sprees for UPBargains.com!  Emma Uren and Erica Rodammer were the lucky winners, and they both came down to our booth to receive their shopping spree certificate!
