Empty The Shelters at UPAWS

Marquette, MISeptember 30, 2020 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is teaming up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to “Empty the Shelters” Thursday through Sunday.

Ann Brownell, with UPAWS, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about the event and encourage you to make room in your home for a dog or cat or other friendly critter.

Brownell explained that the Bissell Pet Foundation pays most of the adoption fees, so if you adopt, you’ll only pay about $25.00.  There will also be free adoption fees for dogs & cats that are 8 years old and up and free adoption fees for small critters.

Find out all of the details at THE UPAWS WEBSITE.
