Marquette, MIJuly 30, 2020 – Active Physical Therapy’s Holly Boburka joined Mark & Walt in the Morning this week for the latest update for their latest update.

Boburka, an Athletic Trainer with Active, talked about the strengthening of ankles, lower legs and feet in athletes who are returning to playing sports this fall.  She talked about who needs the strengthening and much more.

Boburka mentioned that those parts of the body take on high stresses in athletic competition, and can be prone to injury.  She added that strengthening is key in good performance regardless if someone has had a prior injury or is injury free.

She also talked about ankle and leg braces and their use in sports, and how physical therapy is important in both strengthening those areas and recovering from injury.
