Marquette, MI – (01-08-20) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center has a critical need for O-negative, A-negative, and B-positive types of blood across the U.P. Rachel Heath, Coordinator of Blood Collections at the UPRBC, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to encourage you to give blood.
She explained that the Blood Center has collection sites in Marquette, Hancock, Escanaba and Sault Ste. Marie and is the primary supplier of blood to 13 UP hospitals. Heath added that the Marquette center, located on West College Avenue adjacent to the former hospital, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
