Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – Labor Day activities are coming up on Monday in Ishpeming at the Marquette-Alger Labor Day Festival.
Alex Gustafson, Field Coordinator with the Regional Labor Federation joined the SUnny Morning Show this week to invite all to attend.
Gustafson said the Festival kicks off with a parade, starting at 11:00 a.m. through the City of Ishpeming.
Following the parade is a picnic and rally from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Lake Bancroft Park on Lakeshore Drive and Euclid Streets.
He added that there will be live music and plenty of children’s activities, and there will also be free tours of the Cliffs Mine Shaft Museum available for the public.
