    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – 110th District State Representative Scott Dianda joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about things happening at the capital in Lansing.

    The Calumet Democrat touched on several items including the upcoming ballot proposal seeking to increase the state sales tax to free up funds to fix Michigan’s roads.

    Dianda also talked about legislation he is pushing to give local governments and road commissions access to bid on M-DOT surplus road maintenance equipment.

    Another measure of his is a bill seeking a ban on the sale of so-called “palcohol”, a powdered form of alcohol that can be added to any beverage.

    Dianda also talked about several other matters including the creation of a central U.P. based economic development Smartzone.
