Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Commission will be addressing the city’s strategic plan tonight with a work session at 6:00 p.m. to discuss and finalize the plan for fiscal years 2016 to 2018.
Marquette City Manager Mike Angeli joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about key points of the plan and review some other agenda items for tonight’s regular meeting.
Angeli said the strategic plan has been built by city staff following public meetings and work sessions with advisory boards and committees as well as department heads that have created a list of priorities the city will be seeking to fund and implement.
Angeli said the Commission is expected to formally approve the plan at the regular meeting which will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m.
Both of tonight’s meetings will be at Commission Chambers at City Hall in Marquette.
