Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A delegation of business and community leaders from eight U.P. counties visited Lansing this week to meet with state officials to discuss various economic issues.
The group included representatives from several area economic development agencies and private business.
They met with Governor Rick Snyder as well as directors from several state departments and agencies to discuss a variety of issues that they are advocating for in Lansing.
Governor Snyder joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to discuss those meetings and the issues that they focused on.

Issues discussed included Michigan’s energy future, infrastructure issues including roads and bridges, sewer and water and the Soo Locks. Also discussed were recreation, tourism and education concerns.
