MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Doug Rothwell, President & CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan, called in to the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about a strategy his firm has created to create jobs in Michigan.
Rothwell is in Marquette today speaking with a large group of community leaders and economic developers at NMU about the plan to grow up to 500,000 new, good paying jobs in Michigan.
Rothwell, who was the former head of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, explained the Business Leaders for Michigan is the state’s business roundtable and consists of the state’s largest job providers across the state.
The group has developed the Michigan Turnaround Plan, designed to turn the state around and make it a top ten state for jobs, personal income and a healthy economy.
